The HEALTH (Higher Education Action Liaison Targeting Healthcare) Consortium is designed to meet the specialized needs of Ohio public colleges and universities by leveraging the power of their collective size and like-mindedness.
This Board-directed Consortium strives for further efficiencies in all areas to provide unprecedented stability to higher education budgets. Ultimately, the goal is to grow membership and be the first choice for similarly sized public higher education institutions.
Our 2021 Results Achieved
This multi-broker model is available to deliver client plan design, execution, employee education & engagement and open enrollment services.
Entity-specific plan design, multiple medical and pharmacy carrier options as well as a tiered rating based on claims experience.
Higher education institutions with less than 500 employees who qualify as a Public Entity under the Ohio Revised Code (ORC). Higher education institutions, created pursuant to the ORC, are defined as technical colleges, community colleges, state colleges and state universities.
Cincinnati State Technical and Community College, Clark State Community College, Edison State Community College, Shawnee State University and Southern State Community College.
